For those looking for great value accommodation, which is a step up from camping, Springhill’s new Bunkhouse is the ideal solution. With its stunning views towards the Farne Islands and Cheviot Hills the Bunkhouse is perfect for groups, families or independent travellers looking for value for money yet comfortable accommodation without a compromise on quality.

Newly built for 2010 reclaimed from a once derelict farm building, the Bunkhouse can sleep up to 32. The Bunkhouse is available to book as a whole or on a per bed, per night basis.

Facilities

With its breezy, seaside feel the Bunkhouse is different to traditional backpackers style hostels. Come home after a days’ exploring to serviced, comfortable, clean rooms, under floor heating, a well equipped communal living room and a fully equipped self catering kitchen.

Unfortunately we no longer offer a breakfast service although we do sell bread, milk, tea bags, coffee, fruit juice, bacon, sausage & egg's in our daily reception area.

Arrivals between 4pm and 6.00pm with departures before 10am (late arrivals can be arranged)

 Bedroom and en suite cleaning takes place between 1pm and 4pm.

All electricity, heating, toilet and shower facilities are included in the cost.

Smoking is not permitted.

Regrettably no dogs allowed inside the Bunkhouse.

Group bookings and School parties

Springhill welcomes group bookings including school parties, clubs, organisations, field trips and team building parties.

With an abundance of wildlife, Sites of Special Scientific Interest on the doorstep and a diverse range of geographic features nearby, the Bunkhouse is well suited for educational and special interest groups.

Sleeping up to 32, Springhill is one of the largest providers of budget accommodation in one venue in the area.
